2002-03-30 - 12:29 p.m. I just spent the past 30 minutes thinking how blessed I am to have ate Chay as my sister. She and I aren't the typical sisters. There are no quibbles or any rivalry between us. In fact, she protects me and wants nothing but the best for me. She has done so many things in the past to help me out and make my life lots easier. Just to reminisce some of those much-appreciated gestures: -Back in highschool, she and John were the only ones who attended my Junior Ring Ceremony. -Senior year, I was in charge of a Multicultural Show in school, and she did a magnificent job at handling the decorations for the auditorium and the backdrop for the stage. It wasn't even her responsibility. She didn't even go to my school. She just did it for me. -She took care of the decorations for my 17th birthday/graduation party artistically and financially. -She took me food shopping last week so I wouldn't go hungry in school. -She's always there to offer her words of wisdom during moments when I most need some sense in my life. -My sister and John have made me feel that they're there for me especially now that I'm going through tough times. She has done these and much more. I know that I'd be lost without her. I just wish that one day, I'd be able to make her proud of me, as I am very proud to be her sister.
