I just took Unisom (a non habit forming sleeping pill). I took one last night too and it worked! I was actually asleep by 11:30pm, and I got up today at 9:45am. It felt good to actually be awake before noontime, not even funny!
Anyway, I went to two houses today, trying to find a room to move into for this summer and also next schoolyear. I didn't get on-campus housing. Rutgers determines it by using the lottery system, and just my luck, my number was crappy! It's really messed up how they don't even give priorities to seniors, you know??
One house I looked at is on Louis St., about half a mile away from College Ave.(it's where classes are held). The other one is at Birchwood Apartments and it's the same distance as the one on Louis. I didn't like Birchwood too much, that particular unit anyway. It was too much of a dump. The one on Louis seemed really nice. I met three girls from there, and they were all very friendly. From what I saw, I know that they're neat. I really like that. If I were to move in there, I would get the one and only bedroom on the first floor. It's a little small compared to my room at home but it'll do. Also, I'd have to go upstairs to go to the main bathroom to take a shower. I really like the place tho. I'm so tempted to call them back and say that I'd take it. However, half a mile would be a bit of a walk everyday. I don't know.. something tells me that I should wait it out. There are loadsa new postings everyday for rooms anyway. I'm sure I'll find more prospects. Oh Please?!?
By the way, I got a haircut today! Whee!!! I was really looking forward to it. It's really the little things in life that can make me so happy. I went to that salon in Westfield called Guillotine. A girl named Jessica cuts my hair there. She's got some skills! She knows what I want, and she delivers. My hair is full of body yet again, and i'm purdy-purdy once more. Hahaha!
Pat fell asleep in our couch. One minute we were playing boggle. The next, he's in the REM world. Such a sleepyhead he is, really. He said he was gonna study, but he's snoring away as I speak (or type). I'm beginning to wonder now if I were really the one who took the sleeping pill or what. From how it looks, it seems like he took it in my stead!
