2002-04-30 - 3:51 p.m. So Jaxie agrees with me on the whole review issue from my last entry. Haha, we probably sound like bitter bitches. But seriously though, personally I like submitting my journal to review sites because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I like getting some feedback on how I could make this nicer and better. I AM also very much open to criticism -- preferably a constructive and a well thought-out one at that. So I just can't help getting disappointed, after waiting for a review for a month and not get much out of it. Anyway, I'm a tad annoyed at my roommate (Willow) right now. I realized that whenever I offer her some food, she always refuses. I cook pretty well and so does Pat. We don't even use MSG, much less poison. Our food isn't weird. In fact we cook normal stuff, mostly pasta, chicken, salmon, and all other goodies. Our food doesn't even stink! But no matter what or how good our food smells, she just won't try it even after I offer nicely. I wonder why? One time I was cooking Chicken Francais with Prosciutto and she was passing by the kitchen. She said, "Ooh, it smells good". So I set some aside for her and told her that she can have it whenever. Guess what? She didn't even touch it. And that same night she baked herself some brownies and that's what she had for dinner. About a half an hour ago, I asked her if she were hungry because I was, and I was also hoping to share something with her so I wouldn't have to waste anything. She said, "No, I'm really not!" Well you know what she's doing now, just thirty minutes later? She's friggin' eating ramen! She might not have been hungry earlier, but she coulda told me she's hungry now. I mean I was hungry then but now she's eating before me. Err??
I don't know why it's bothering me like this. But isn't that rude though? To refuse EVERY single time you're offered something? Especially if you live together? What the heck, man! And you know what's bugging me the most? I observed the past couple of weeks that she's been buying the same foods that I normally get. These are the foods that Pat and I usually cook and eat such as macaroni and cheese and frozen pizza. These are the foods that she never used to get. And lastly, these are the foods that she, many times in the past, refused to even taste when offered by us. Hypocritical, if you ask me. Above all, I find it a LITTLE annoying, a BIT insulting, and VERY odd.
