What a day! This heat is terrible. I can't help but wish for summer not to come. If spring's like this then I can't imagine what summer will be like.

I woke up early today to attend the Summer Job fair. T'was such a waste of time, I tell ya. Quite pathetic that all Rutgers has to offer are day-camp, UPS, and retail type of jobs that pay 7.50/hr, 8.50 at best. What the heck is that? What's the point of completing 3 years of college if all that's being offered to us is the salary bracket that we had back in highschool? So disappointing it is.

Anyway, I can't breathe coz of this humidity. And I mentioned that this heat is evil, right? Reeaally evil coz it caused a handful of accidents today since everyone's high-strung and road rage is looming . One of which involved a 3-car pileup and another was a Rutgers bus and a student's car. Let's just assume that the student's tuition is probably paid forever. That's the third accident this year that involved a school bus. Last semester, one collided into the suites while turning. Good thing there was nobody in the suites at the time. Tsk tsk. Makes me wonder just how safe we are..

By the way, while I was on the bus from class, there was a car on Route 18 that caught fire. I saw the driver and the passenger climb out, stand in the middle of the thick smoke and inspect their car. ARG!! Some people can be so stupid, really. The car is about to blow up and they were just standing there. I would have jetted like a maniac! They eventually walked SLOWLY away from their car but they were still staring at it quite desperately. I didn't see it blow up coz our bus moved already. I've never seen one in real life do so. Since the car was empty, it would have been cool to witness the explosion. I know, I'm being immature, so shoot me. So that was the most exciting part of my day. A tad sad, ain't it?

We are dying from heat here. No exag! Housing has to switch the central air back on. But this is only the 2nd hot day. It takes them 5 hot days to switch the A/C on, and only 2 cold days to switch it off. With the money we're paying here, they can still manage to be so cheap. I feel so destitute without A/C! Damn thing. (Sorry if that sounded totally bratty.. didn't mean it that way.)

Pat and I went to Starbucks to cool off. I had a chocolate brownie frap as usual and twas soo good. He also got me one of those cow finger puppets on a candy treat. I like moo-things. He's actually the only one who gets me cows. Everyone else gives me angels.

I have to do pilates again. I'm gaining weight. Or maybe I'm just expanding from the heat. Haha. I don't eat a lot really. It's just that I've been leading a very stagnant lifestyle lately. Besides, I don't even have much to eat. Haha. Honestly though, I feel so piggish, not even funny!

Oh my. Am I looking forward to going to my warm bed, under my heavy blanket. Umm.. NOT! Too bad I couldn't sleep without a blanket no matter how hot it is. I'd feel too exposed. Talk about a pig in a blanket, eh? Pun intended. Hmm, on the bright side, I'd be fried when I wake up tomorrow morning -- my roommates can have BACON for breakfast! Oh, Eww!

That's Me!
