Okay. So my sister totally misled me into thinking that Easter Sunday us this coming Sunday. A big DOH!
I cooked dinner tonight! I made cold peanut, chicken and soba noodle salad. It was a success yet again! My sis said it was delicious. I was really happy to hear that. Hoorah to Emeril! He rocks!
I LOVE to cook and try out dishes that I see on Food Network. That's probably my favorite channel on cable tv. Umm wait, i love HBO too, especially their original programs like Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, and Sex and the City. But anyway, back to cooking. It would really be nice to have a bakery or a catering service of my own someday. I daydream about that quite often. Do hope it comes true.
Anyway, my sister's such a blessing! She's letting me stay here in her place for the week. It's great being here. I get to dog-sit CeeJay. =) She goes to this 'nook' near my legs when I sleep. Really sweet, she is! I definitely want a dog when I get MY OWN apartment, a cocker spaniel, maybe.
Honestly, I do not want to see my parents (See Growing Pains entry). That's the reason why my sis adopted me for a week. What my parents do and not do hurt me so. So selfish they are, it's infuriating!
Maybe I should go to bed now. Don't want to ruin my day when it hasn't even begun yet by thinking about the negative aspects in my life right now. Just think positive Gabbs, think positive.
