I am sick. =(
It's so weird how it progressed. Last night, I was studying and I didn't feel sick at all. Around 1am, I started feeling cold. By 3am, I was quite sure that I had a fever. My skin felt like it was burning, and I just felt sick. I just laid in bed and couldn't fall asleep. I worried about my exam because I was determined to take it even if I were sick. I woke up at 9 this morning, studied some more, and took short naps in between reading each chapter. I was feeling better and then I went to take my exam.
Can I just mention that I am such a retard? When I got to the lecture hall, only 2 out of 400 students were there. It boggled my mind because weren't we having an exam today? As it turns out, the exam's not til Wednesday! DOH! I can't believe I misread the syllabus when I even checked twice.
Ok, I give you permission to laugh and jeer at me and call me a dork. Satisfied?
Oh well, I suppose it works out better for me. At least I'm done studying for it and hopefully on Wednesday, I'm not sick anymore.
So, I finally got my review from r-e-v-i-e-w. I got 88/100 which is the lowest score I've gotten by far. It is really weird how these reviews work. Baffles me.
From diaryreviews(95/100), they said my layout is awesome and that I shouldn't change a thing. On content, they said that it's interesting and well-written.
From ripest(93/100), they didn't like my layout too much but they loved the content and my writing style.
From dreamreview(95/100), I got a perfect score on content. Three points were taken off for layout and another 2 points for extras.
Now from r-e-v-i-e-w, they didn't like my layout, and for content, they said, "It wasn't bad, just not gripping". Hmm, I don't know what that's supposed to mean. I write as I see and know it, so maybe my life itself just isn't gripping? Just wondering what it could possibly mean. No offense, but honestly, the review from r-e-v-i-e-w was quite disappointing. I waited close to a month for it, and when I finally got it, I didn't find it to be of much help on making my journal better. It seemed a bit hurried for some reason. And in my opinion, the judging isn't consistent. Just see for yourself. Read their previous reviews and you'll know what I'm talking about.
OK, so that's enough about reviews. I just wanted to share my thoughts on them.
Moving on, there's someone in my Comp Sci mailing list who's infected with Klez. Damn damn damn! I was so annoyed yesterday because I got like 63 emails from different people. For those of you who don't know Klez, it's a virus that's spread through email, plagues your address book, and fakes the sender line making it appear as though some odd person sent you an email with the virus even if that person didn't. It just makes the person look bad, really. As for damages, it only ruins files on the 6th of every odd month of the year (Jan,March,May..). Good thing there's a tool that's developed for removing the damn bug. Apparently, the bug originated from Hong Kong, done by a programmer who wants to prove his programming skills to a prominent Western information technology company. The following message was decoded from the program:
