2002-03-04 - 2:09 a.m. It's 2 in the morning and I am studying for my Internet Technology exam at 6 today. I really should be worrying because I am so not prepared for this exam yet. I finished reading most of the material about 2 weeks ago. Go me! The problem is, now I still have like a chapter to read, and in addition to that, I forgot the stuff I learned 3 weeks ago. Am I in trouble! I really wish I could learn how to study faster, and retain more info. There's actually this software on brain.com. It teaches you techniques on how to study well, retain more stuff, and also to be more adaptive to future material. That would be really awesome for me because in my field (Computer Science) to be, (hehe.. if I pass that is..), I need to be able to adapt to future developments and progamming languages. Otherwise, I'd be no good. I really really want it. It's $99 though. I couldn't afford it right now. Too bad so sad.. maybe I can get it for my birthday, which is 3 months away. You're prolly thinking that it's a corny gift, but hey, it's for personal betterment. And I think that's great. Holy crap, that reminds me, I'm turning 20 this year! Ecchh... I'm a teen no longer!
Now that I myself am part of the grown up crew, I can't help but wish for my childhood days to come back. Those childhood days when everything was carefree and innocent. I guess it's true how they say we always want what we can not have. I realize now that the seemingly 'intelligent conversations' are not as intelligent as I had expected. I reckon too that those so-called grown up privileges come in a package. In it are a heck of a lot of responsibilities, hardships, and pains. It isn't so great after all.Tsk tsk, see now what studying for Internet Technology does to me? See what it leads to? My, oh my!
